The stuff I useMartin Cole "Stratus" Acoustic:
(See My Guitar page)
"It's there with me, and when it's not I miss it"
Tama Acoustic:
I bought this off Dave Whetstone about 15 years ago. I
had it converted to left-handed and fitted with a Fishman under the
saddle piezo pickup. Dreadnought style, nice action. This was my first
serious acoustic guitar. I generally use this one for DADGAD tuning.
You would normally associate the name "Tama" with drums, but they used
to make guitars and still do under the name of "Ibanez."

Apparently they are quite rare and sought after - sorry Dave and thanks
for the bargain price.
Yamaha FG 335L:
I bought this guitar in a second-hand shop in Wolverton. I saw it
hanging in the window for £50, so I knocked him down to £45.
I really like this guitar although at the moment it's home is at school.
It has a Fishman "Rare Earth" pickup which was originally fitted on my
"Stratus".
Yamaha Pacifica Electric:
For years I'd had a Burns "Vibra Artiste" electric
guitar, in fact I got it when I was 15 in Rubber Duck, there it is below.
This guitar had gone with me wherever I roamed but I hadn't played it
for at least 40 years! So I decided enough was enough, it was in
terrible condition, so I flogged it on EBay, and I must say, at a very
acceptable price and the chap who bought it promised he was going to
restore it to it's original glory, good man!
Well, I had to have something to replace it and I saw the "Pacifica" for
sale on EBay at a very reasonable price. As you would expect, I've not
had the opportunity to play it much yet - no change there then :-)

Who is that fresh-faced youngster on the right?
Hohner Erica Melodeon:
I've had this since my Morris dancing days and still
use it occasionally at barn dances although more often or not it's used
and resides at school. The children think it's "very loud".
AMPS & Stuff
AER Compact 60 Acoustic Amplifier:
A very nice amp and ideal for playing in the smaller
venues. We have an AER Domino in school and I've used this with the
Compact 60 as a monitor, it is very nice, I love the sound of these amps
and very easy to set up and carry around.
Orchid Pre-Amp:
I originally bought a
Fishman Aura hoping from all the blurb that I'd read about it that
it would truly enhance the sound of my guitars. Well it did make a
difference, and for a while I was impressed, and then I heard the
Orchid.
This little unit really does the job, and again, has cut down the amount
of gear I need to take out on the road, highly recommended, it has
really made a big difference to the overall sound of all my guitars.
Sure SM58:
Industry standard, it does what it says on the tin, I really must get a
box for it.
